Kelly moved to Florida from Denver, CO but is originally from North Carolina. She received her B.S. in Environmental Sciences with a focus in Ecology at the University of North Carolina. Go heels! She has dabbled in many varying aspects of biology but has settled on wildlife ecology and is specifically interested in human-carnivore conflicts and the effects on predator conservation. Currently, she is assisting Dr. Boughton with a project examining calf mortality on south Florida ranches. Beyond the world of science, Kelly loves spending her time hiking, mountain biking, sewing, and most importantly frolicking with her two sixty pound pups.
